Privacy Policy

Effective 29 July 2026. This policy covers heatblockingwindows.com only. It does not cover any other website.

This site is operated by Advanced Design & Development Inc, a Nevada licensed contractor (NV Lic. #0077896A), trading as Heat Blocking Windows. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company.

1. What we collect

We collect only what you type into the quote form on this site:

• Your name and phone number, which are required.
• Your email address, if you choose to give one.
• The city your home is in and roughly how many windows you are asking about.
• What you write in the free-text box about which rooms are a problem.
• A record of the consent disclosure you were shown, the page you were on, and the date and time you submitted. We keep this so that if you ever ask what you agreed to, we can show you exactly what was on screen.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, a Social Security number, a driver’s licence number, a date of birth, or any financial account or card number. If you send one anyway, we will delete it.

What we do not collect

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party tracking scripts of any kind. It sets no cookies. If that changes, this policy changes first.

Our hosting provider records ordinary server request logs, including IP addresses, as part of delivering the page and blocking abuse. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.

2. Why we use it

To respond to your request for a quote, to schedule and carry out a site measurement, and to price and perform work you ask us to perform. If you ticked the optional box, we may also send you occasional seasonal scheduling notes. That box is optional and is never pre-ticked, and declining it does not affect your quote in any way.

3. We do not sell your information

You can tell us to keep it that way in writing at any time — see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We honour those requests whether or not a particular privacy statute happens to apply to a business our size, because the answer does not change either way.

4. Who does see it

Only the people who need it to answer you:

• Our own staff and the crew assigned to your job.
• Our web host, which receives the form submission in order to deliver it to us.
• A supplier or manufacturer, where your address or opening measurements are needed to order or warranty the specific units for your job.
• Anyone we are legally required to give it to — a court order, a subpoena, or a regulator acting within its authority.

5. How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become jobs are kept while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Records connected to work we actually performed are kept substantially longer, because contracting records support warranty claims, permit history and licensing obligations. You can ask us to delete a record at any time and we will, unless we are required to keep that specific record.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise.

7. Children

This site is aimed at homeowners. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us and we will delete it.

8. Calls, email and opting out

We do not send text messages. No form on this site asks for permission to text you, and we run no texting programme.

When you submit the form, you authorize us to contact you about your enquiry by phone and email, including by automated means. That authorization is not a condition of buying anything from us. You can withdraw it at any time, in any words: tell whoever calls you, reply to any email from us, or contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.

10. Contacting us

This domain does not yet have its own mailbox, so the fastest and most reliable route is the phone. Written requests can be mailed to the address below and we will act on them.
